Leap Girl Africa invites Adolescent Girls and Young Women between the ages of 12-25 across the 10 regions of Cameroon to apply for a training workshop and design of an advocacy campaign on Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights and HIV/AIDS reform. It has been observed that AGYW lack the knowledge and skills needed to take part in high level discussions. Through this workshop, we will train them in Global Fund processes, Beijing+25 processes, the Generation Equality and together come up with an advocacy campaign to reform discriminatory laws and policies. This will be a 1 week program both online and onsite, where 4 days will be dedicated for the online training and preparation for the campaign and onsite will be for meeting and campaign launch In Yaounde, Cameroon.
ELIGIBILITY
- Be a Cameroonian
- Be aged 12-25, priority will be given to teenagers, young people living with HIV/AIDS and persons with a disability.
- You should have at least basic knowledge on Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights and HIV/AIDS and Legal Reform.
- Speak English, French and Pidgin
- Have access to a Smartphone and good internet connection
- For girls under 19 you will be required to get parental consent to attend the program
- Available to commit 2-3 hours of online activities and assignments for 4 days and be in Yaounde for 2 days.
APPLICATION PROCESS

WHAT NEXT AFTER THE WORKSHOP
After the workshop, we will keep on getting engagements on our campaign and you must organize an event in your region, communities or school to engage your peers and engage stakeholders.
