Tracy holds a degree in political sciences and is currently pursuing a master’s program in International Relations and Strategic Studies.
Her journey with Leap Girl Africa(LGA) began at age 18, after taking part in one of Leap Girl Africa’s workshops on SRH. She then developed an interest in becoming a volunteer, with a passion to use her voice for change, by advocating for AGYW access to services and information related to their wellbeing. Tracy’s dedication to the organization’s mission earned her an integration into LGA , where she served as Programs Associate from early 2023 to June 2024, and a second promotion at the end of 2024 upgraded her to the position of Programs Officer.
Miss Maih is a product of Leap Girl Africa’s vision of transforming young women into bold leaders. She has served as lead for the Hervoice Fund project from 2022 to present. She has organized, implemented and facilitated sessions on GBV, SRHR, HIV, and other issues affecting AGYW.
In her free time, she enjoys going on trips, dancing and singing, reading, researching and exploring new things. Values that guide Tracy Maih Yuh’s daily life are respect, fairplay, transparency, equity and integrity.
