Pertulla Ezigha Ketcha

Executive Director

Pertulla Ezigha Ketcha is a gender activist, nonprofit strategist, and social change leader with over nine years of experience advancing gender equality, youth empowerment, and education across sub-Saharan Africa. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Leap Girl Africa, a young women-led organization in Cameroon that works to prevent gender-based violence, promote girls’ education, and expand access to SRHR and economic empowerment for young women.
Pertulla also serves as Senior Program Officer and WESCA Focal Point at FRIDA | The Young Feminist Fund, where she co-leads participatory grantmaking and supports over 250 grassroots feminist organizations across majority-world countries. She specializes in organizational development, funding ecosystem transitions, and feminist philanthropy.
She has contributed to regional and global initiatives, including the UNGEI Gender Transformative Education Initiative, UNAIDS’ Education Plus, and UNICEF’s adolescent programming in sub-Saharan Africa. She has successfully mobilized and managed over $1 million in funding to resource feminist movements and youth-led organizations.

Pertulla holds a Master I degree in Political Science from the University of Yaounde II and has completed advanced training in civic engagement and leadership at the University of Georgia and the University of Washington, Development and Social Change fron the School for International Training (SIT) Study Abroad and Data Analysis from the university of Cape Town.. Her work is grounded in community care, equity, and the redistribution of power and resources to those most affected by injustice.
