Women’s Socio-Economic Empowerment and Justice

Our socio-economic empowerment initiatives focus on equipping women with the resources, skills, and networks to achieve economic independence, promoting sustainability and resilience within their communities.

1. Strategic Approach:

- Skills Training and Economic Literacy:

In line with SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and Cameroon’s Emergence 2035 vision, we provide training in entrepreneurship, digital skills, and financial literacy, enabling women to improve their economic standing.

- Support for Small Enterprises and Financial Access:

We facilitate access to microfinancing and mentorship programs for aspiring entrepreneurs, creating pathways for financial independence.

- Justice and Advocacy for Economic Rights:

We advocate for equitable labor practices and equal pay, collaborating with policymakers and local businesses to dismantle structural inequalities that impact women disproportionately.

2. Our Impact:

120+ women trained in entrepreneurship and financial literacy, resulting in improved income stability and financial security for participants.
Partnered with microfinance institutions to facilitate loans for women-led businesses, leading to the establishment of over 30 small enterprises in local communities.
Launched an economic advocacy campaign, resulting in policy dialogues with local officials focused on women’s economic rights and fair labor practices.
